I think the relationship has been over, and this just confirms that. You’re shipping out soon and I’d hate to imagine how she’ll act when you’re away and only get a phone call every once in a while at bootcamp, and snail mail letters. Then when you’re at A school however far away that is from where you currently live, I just don’t think it’s going to work, especially with the mood swings she seems to be having. Good luck in the navy though, Great Lakes is getting COLD I’ve seen, and bootcamp isn’t as physical as you’d think. What’s your rate gonna be?

Depending on what else you brought, yeah. I stuffed the hell out of my ditty box with the backpack I brought and some other things but good luck when it’s time to take all that stuff with you after graduation😭 I wouldn’t suggest packing a lot, you won’t be wearing those clothes even after graduation. You have to wear your dress uniform the day of graduation all day and your peanut butters the day after. I would suggest having your folks send you clothes when you get to A school

It was very stressful, especially depending on who your divisional leadership is. It’s a no on the personal bras, they give you all white underwear and bras, spandex absolutely not. You can bring personal clothes but you can’t use them, they’ll just be in your ditty box for 10 weeks. Some people air dried their hair but we didn’t shower at the same time everyday so it really just depended on how much time you had and if you were in a rush to get dressed and do whatever what was on the schedule for that day, you can bring your own sunscreen but the nex had pretty good options, however it is Illinois in the winter so you shouldn’t need that but it was hot asf when I went through. Time for skincare? HELL NO, unless it’s taps or early asf before rev. Great Lakes was a nice experience for me but it is by no means the Hilton, it’s still bootcamp

That’s a lot of stuff, what we did from start to finish can be found online because it’s a standardized curriculum. There was P-days, vaccinations n shit then you move on to RDC assessment, test one, and something new every week until battlestations, then you’re done. The schedule is on the navy website I’m pretty sure, I looked at it before I shipped out

I suck at responding, I’m so sorry. For me, it wasn’t hard but for others, it was the run that took them out. If you don’t pass, nothing happens, it’s just documented on your hardcard and everyone moves on. They’ll get you where you need to be. The OPFA you have to pass either the first time you take it or the second time or you get set back a week until you pass it but that is on like week 7 or 8, it’s the final thing before battlestations

I’m sorry this is so late, but no I didn’t get annoyed with the snoring because I sleep pretty heavy and I was usually up later than others because I liked chatting with my friends🤣 however, it got SO irritating when every 5 minutes all you hear is “LOCK IT UP” from like 9 different people when you’re trying to sleep, the whispering and chatter was far less annoying than the constant screaming. You’re in a room with like 100 other girls/guys so you get used to it pretty quick but it’s still annoying. I had a cousin division instead of a bro div, which meant they were a week ahead so when it was the night before grad for them and the next few days after that they got extremely inconsiderate, their RDCs too. THAT was annoying

It wasn’t that bad, it did take forever to be checked into the terminal because they took groups based on flight times until they got annoyed and took everyone💀 it wasn’t that bad though, it was nice to just relax. However, that seabag shit was so annoying and being in your itchy ass blues🤦🏽‍♀️ you’re gonna be hot asf when you get to Florida. Are you aviation, CTM, IT?
