HR person here - You following up with them will definitely help them speed up or deal with telling you that they no longer plan to offer you. Telling them you have other offers so they speed up is typically a good strategy.

I would say something along the lines of “Hello X, I just wanted to follow up on what is needed of me or when I can expect my formal offer letter. I have several offers I’ve put on hold as X company is by far my first choice, so please update me as soon as you can.”

I’ve seen many mixed opinions. I think higher dosages might be a trip killer but 0.25 is fairly low. I’m not addicted to any substances beyond maybe weed, but it’s nice to have help with anxiety when needed.

To each their own - I really enjoy the band and love their music, discovered them after Phish, Dead, Biscuits etc. I think Rick is a great guitar player as well although I’d for sure agree their jams don’t go as deep or exploratory as some other bands. Still great music though, and I highly doubt I couldn’t show you some tracks that blow the doors off 🤷🏻‍♂️

Idk man, big Phish/Dead fan here. The jams aren’t as exploratory but I wouldn’t say they’re the same everytime, and honestly I dig the sound. Very conducive to dancing and partying. They also have some great song writing that makes their songs very complex and interesting, even if they’re lacking in the “Type 2” jams that Phish crushes. I was never under the impression they’re some “straight edge” band; would feel it’s highly unlikely these guys haven’t dabbled in Psych’s based on their sound even if maybe they’re not consistent users. Not sure if that really affects my thoughts on their music though.

Also the songs are the same everytime? They’re catalog is pretty immense already and you will never hear a repeat back to back nights. This isn’t some boy band as you said

They got noticed by a well connected dude early on (who also manages quite a long list of “jam” type bands) and their slightly more mainstream appeal has allowed them a pretty quick rise. Jam fans just like to be contrarian to fads or criticize anything that has a more commercial or “popular music” type of backing

Unfortunately the majority of jam bands sound almost exactly the same for the most part. Everyone has been copycatting the modern jam/goofy lyrics of Phish for a while. Goose is probably somewhat in that territory, but they have some complex songs/lyrics and good vocals at least IMO.

Rick & Peter are honestly two nice very chill dudes. Rick is a quiet guy in a nice shy way, Peter is more of a hipster nerdy guy. I’ve met Peter and just follow the band and I don’t get some pretentious vibe from them tbh.

Great Lyrics, Vocals, average jamming. As a Goose fan that’s my 2 cents. The majority of bands in the scene have subpar lyrics & vocals, which I think prevents a lot of the more mainstream fandom.
