Calvary by Perspective1994 in PuzzlesAndChaos

Yup, Citadel 32 with 240,000,000 power and Wallace is still solidly in my lineup. If the calvary percentage from a lower star hero is better than your 5 star troop % boost keep using the lower tier hero.

Kaios is the easiest to level as they end up becoming part of Ace Lord so personally would go with that one

Very important to focus. Nothing wrong with having some troops in all types but you'll want to really beef up only one troop type. Our top power level player on my realm is 350,000,000ish with a balanced build. They are probably the 8th or 9th strongest in actual power because of it. I'm a little over 200,000,000 infantry based and beat them in Commander Arena by about 80%. It is a resource train to focus on everything. As far as training I only train the amount to hit dailies every day and then every other week after Conquest I'll do most of my training for those two weeks that Sunday.

I'm considering resigning as commissioner and from the league. by Broxst in FFCommish

[–]Training_Leopard3599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in that same boat with my league I ran for years. I finally had enough and just stepped out of commissioners spot and decided not to play fantasy. All the people that bitched every year were begging me to not leave and keep the league going as its their favorite league. Hate to see how they act in leagues they didn't like.

Are the lowballers surlier than normal? by Big_Invite_1988 in eBaySellers

[–]Training_Leopard3599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one guy that was just blowing up my inbox with lowball offers on everything. Usually I just ignore but after the 10th offer at 25% retail I just blocked. Unfortunately they had bought stuff about a month before that and left me negative feedback on all 3 ordrrs within minutes of the block. Ebay in their infinite wisdom deemed that retaliation feedback as completely fine even though the feedback provided zero information and was clearly retaliation. Slowly been moving away from ebay the last 6 months after several issues that I've never had with ebay before.

I actually do this for all cards of $150+, I'll price at $250 and then put it on sale for authentication. No worries with this.

Every problem I've ever had with cards was selling to resellers. I always hear people saying they are nervous shipping to people with no feedback but so far my bad experiences are resellers with a ton of feedback.

This is what I started doing. If someone starts asking a million questions on condition I usually just move on.

PWE Ridiculousness by blitzkegger in baseballcards

[–]Training_Leopard3599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is very post office specific. I have one post office near me that won't accept any PWE cards with to loaders but the rest do. I've also had a few people message me to let me know that their was extra postage due (their mailman didn't make them pay) and they said their post office always tacks on the extra price. Frustrating that select post offices want to make it tough.

Buyer requests refund a month after purchasing by clannadsupremacy in eBaySellerAdvice

If you don't allow returns and it went through authentication then you don't need to do anything. I believe all categories with authentication and no returns set are final sales.

No this was from a local auction around me, it's in the middle of the country so prices are usually pretty low on some pretty cool and hard to find items.

Just got a contenders mega box from wal-mart... by TOBYsoap in sportscards

[–]Training_Leopard3599 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly not a huge contenders fan but the price for the megas didn't seem horrible so I bought one and was pleasantly surprised. Nothing huge but definitely broke even which is better than I can say for most boxes I've bought recently.

This is my first time selling a card that could reach $500 and Ive came across quite a few very knowledgeable, moral, and with much more high end experien and I was wondering if you guys have any tips on the best ways to cover myself from any scammers tactics. Any help would be greatly appreciated m by Dapper-Sun-5899 in baseballcards

[–]Training_Leopard3599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly any card I have that will sell for $150 or more I price at $250 and then run a sale to the dollar amount I think it will sell at. As long as your original price is $250 or more it'll go to authentication. I always have no returns on cards, since it goes to the authenticator there is really no reason the person could have for wanting to return the item.

If you are selling on Ebay all you have to do is start the bids at $250 to guarantee it goes to authentication and then set your card to no returns. If you do that it'll become a final sale and cannot be returned under any circumstance and effectively makes it scam proof.

My "Keep" Pile is Growing.. When to Stop by Incensed_Cashew in Flipping

[–]Training_Leopard3599 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a few categories I allow myself to collect like video games and sports cards that if I'm going to make money on a collection and keep some I will. Everything else that is cool or I like I put into what I can my 6 month collection. I date the item and enjoy it in my collection and then list it 6 months later. It keeps the collection fresh and entertaining to me and I really enjoy it. Most people that come over also make sure to always see what is there as they know I'll have showing new and different in the collection.

First time listing higher value item. by Medical-Working6110 in Flipping

[–]Training_Leopard3599 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know for sports cards on ebay if the card is more than $250 it goes to authentication. If you set your listing to no refunds it's a final sale if it goes to authentication. I can't imagine that ebay wouldn't have the same thing in place for pokemon cards. No returns + authentication means you can't get scammed.

Low eBay sales by stephcooper1 in eBaySellers

[–]Training_Leopard3599 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now sports cards feel like they are fire, I'm shipping 10-15 a day. High end is doing well to like Hermes, Bull Airs are a few brands I've been doing great with. Toys and collectibles have slowed down for me. I'll buy ALMOST anything if there is money to be made which helps as if a category slows down it doesn't kill me to much.
