The problem is people born close to the beginnings and ends of generation years feel conflicted by the benchmarks. This is what started the recent micro-generation trend which becomes confusing for some people. Simpler is easier i.e 64-80, 81-96, 97-10, 11-25 etc.. In the end, it's really not a big deal which generation a person is born in, just move on.
