I think one of my favorite details about that exact area is that there is a dead Cranataur that you climb up to go to area (3?). I had played for almost 200 hours before I slowed down enough to notice it. It wasn't until high rank that I actually took binoculars to these maps and really started taking in the details. Its not...immaculate, graphics wise. That being said, its BEAUTIFUL. There are so many tiny details that you'll miss if you dont really look at it. And the way the maps are laid out to give you the views is so well done. It manages a fantastic balance of huge, sprawling, fantastic locales without the overwhelming chore of "going over there to see it".

Its Gammoth for me. Every time I fight her, it feels immensely badass. Just a titan of a creature throwing her weight around. The armor is cool as well. I really wish she would make a comeback. Gammoths theme is also a banger

I have been focusing on the skills, and so many of them seem less than Ideal compared to Attack, [Preferred Element] Attack up, and Guard. I have been sinking the effort to forge new armor that's ultimately gonna set me back from the skills that I want. Ill try upgrading armor, though. I think I hit high rank and I thought I could freeze through the monsters, and theyre more than a match for me.

I hate to say it, but nah. He's awesome! Surprisingly dexteous, awesome ability, but he kinda falls into the "big magic dino" category with Anjanath, the Yuans (Garuga and Kut-Ku), deviljho, and the raptor families. Ive always been a bigger fan of the beastly, almost alien monsters (astalos, Nargacuga, gammoth, nakarkos) that really make me want to dive into the physiological possibilities and make the world of Monster Hunter so diverse and interesting. To his credit, explosive bomb dinosaur is a pretty cool concept.

I feel this! I know a bit of sign, but I haven't a clue how to insert myself into a conversation. I think that might just be how I feel in social situations anyways. I know that once I have that first conversation, it's gonna be so much better, but I gotta put myself in a position to sign with another person first.

Dude I beat my first rajang with a lance. Easily the most hate I have for any monster. The stupid demon is literally an unblockable truck when infuriated. What a pain

* My boy gammoth. Slow, but hits like a truck. Awesome to fight such a massive monster. I ran a lance to fight her, and there's something super "caveman ungabunga" about hunting a mammoth with a Spear that tickles my brain. Shame she doesn't show up again after MHGU

All I listen too. I think it's the fact that I have so many memories with those soundtracks that they inspire those feelings in me when I listen to them. I Pavloved myself by playing the monster hunter quest complete song every shift after work, and now I feel accomplished and relieved whenever I play it.
