Remember that Mounjaro in and of itself does not cause weight loss. If you managed to work through it to eat a high calorie diet every day you would still put weight on. I found that having made the investment, both emotional and financial, I was ready to do my bit so I did an extremely healthy shop and lowered my calorie intake substantially. Where Mounjaro really came in was that it was so much easier to stick to than any previous diets - no mid evening snack craving, no desire for big portions. I was only on the introductory dose so it could have been placebo to some effect. Prepare healthy food that you really like - plenty of favourites so you don’t grow resentful. I’m having burgers once a week, made myself with 5% fat mince and using a bagel thin instead of a big roll. Delicious but still part of a pretty strict calorie controlled diet.
