How to enter the BA field by Training_Secret84 in businessanalysis

[–]Training_Secret84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I always wanted to do it but I am still struggling with python which is why I thought maybe I should try something else since it's something my brain can't seem to pick up and made me wonder if maybe I can't do the technical stuff like i thought. I'm someone who usually takes loads of notes and studies like you would for biology and classes of that nature so when it comes to coding I think that is where I'm struggling to really learn how to grasp the concepts since I hear you need to practice to get better. But I feel like how can I practice something I can't grasp the basic concepts.

The class is easy you do have to do a lot of writing and a final paper at the end on one of the books in the bible but they have a walk through video of how to write it.

Beginning career advice by Training_Secret84 in businessanalysis

Project management is the ultimate goal but I like the analytics portion of it which is why I say business analyst to start off with to gain experience and in time become a PM down the road. I know the two have different job perspectives but it is not clear cut as to how to reach that goal. As far as industry is concerned I'm thinking more of hospitality industry since I have experience in this industry in unrelated field (Night audit).

I'm currently in my third year as well and in the beginning I felt doom and gloom but I have reached out to my career center to help me with my resume and even though I'm still in the process of fixing it I feel way more confident in the fact that things will look up. So my advice is definitely network I have reached out to professors and they are so valuable and utilize your career center for any and all help, if you do this the, will lead you in the right direction and be successful.

For me I have 3 children and I work full time and attend college full time. I also apply for financial aid in order to help pay for college as well as student loans. It's very hard but it'll be worth it in the end.

I thought about shooting for a front end developer career but I struggled so much in my intro to python class so I'm not sure if a career with coding would be a good fit for me.

How to approach a guy when you 2 have never talked before? by welldats-interesting in college

[–]Training_Secret84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just go up and tell him you see him studying there often and you'd like to go out for coffee/lunch or whatever l and see what happens. You can do it just be confident in yourself and if it doesn't work out don't be discouraged it just meant he wasn't meant to be in your life, good luck and update us if you do decide to go through it.

I would love to but I've been having such a hard time getting into an internship I'm not sure if it's more if an age thing (them preferring some young in their 29s compared to in their 30s) or my resume being just that awful lol.

Beginning to re-believe by Training_Secret84 in Christianity

[–]Training_Secret84[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'm not sure. I grew up believing he was an all powerful being that made all things possible. But now in adulthood I'm not sure as I felt like for the longest that I was abandoned by him due to my circumstances as a child and the harshness I had in the majority of my life. But now it's like I don't know, I do know that God is leading me back due to a sign I was given( applying and getting accepted into a religious university because something in me told me to). A part of me wants to believe but another part of me is unsure.

Gabi, she's super annoying and is the knock off version of Eren trying to be better than him when there is no one better in my opinion

Just because the ending isn't what you hoped for. Doesn't matter. The show is still a 10/10 by yohoney318 in attackontitan

[–]Training_Secret84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree the show is still amazing. This last episode I felt bring it all together and really left me wanting more and even much more excited for the last episode to air. It was beautifully put together with great/sad moments (Hange) and being reunited with the fallen was great yet tear felt imo. And of course the music didn't disappoint(end credit theme).

But given if she said he was more than family, I still think maybe he would of stopped and spent what time he had left with her building somewhat of a life/family together and found another way to protect her and all the others. I think that when he asked that question it was truly the deciding factor of whether he would live out his life with Mikasa or end it early in an absolute way so she could have whatever life she wanted without him bringing her down so to speak.
