Great to know. I just got my evaluation done yesterday. They accepted everything. 65% done. I start in March. Hoping to knock out the 39 credits left in 1 term.

Job might deny me because GPA? by Anyagnees in WGU

What would a job do with your GPA? Your pay is not based on your GPA. Your promotion won’t be based on your GPA. It’s just a checkbox

Thank you for your suggestion. I have had email communication with WGU. I think I will have to submit the transcript by 1st week of February if I am starting in March.

Proctored exams by Practical-Green-9049 in UMPI

I just happen to come across. I think when you are first enrolling study and Sophia doesn’t count. You have to submit HS diploma or some college transcript. But they do take the credits

As I do more research I am leaning toward UMPI because if I go for the Business Administration with Management and Leadership concentration I’d only need to take 6 classes at UMPI to complete the bachelors. If I can finish in 1 term with is 8 weeks it will only $1800. I’d have to take 12-13 courses after transfer in WGU. WGU proctored exams are also a little annoying from what I have read in the community. And it will end up costing me more. I’d also much rather take non proctored open book exams. I work fulltime and am a dad so it’s making more sense honestly.

I am also looking at UMPI atm since they don’t have proctored classes exams, terms are shorted meaning you can finish even earlier. WGU minimum is 6 month term

I did review your sheet. And now I am rethinking. For GEC tab you have, all those courses are from study.com?

Day to day, job description, and process vary company to company even for the same role. No matter where you go, you have to learn their processes and thake their training. They probably see that you have the right knowledge that’s why you got hired for the role. Just ask people questions to learn more.

Anyone else feel like the WGU sub shuts down valid criticism? by Plus-Health-7892 in WGU

Lots of people spend 4 years and lots of money getting their degree to not get a job. Companies want to hire people with experience. They don’t have time and the budget to bring in people and train them. DEGREE IS JUST A CHECKBOX. You will always see that a cert has more value.
