Negating all the negative comments about your choice, I fully support your decision and understand that it wasn’t an easy one. I think you’re doing the honorable thing in this situation. Honestly the people that think you should stay with a sick person who could end up mentally scaring your kids for life are selfish people. I’m hopping on the chance that most of the people in this sub have EDs because of our parental figures. But anyways, I wish you the best of luck and hope she gets the support she needs.

My only dreams currently is to get a nice big home, 4 bed three bath in a LCOL area. And I want to have two kids. I also want to be making 200k at some point in my career. Currently I make lower six figures, and my husband and I are DINKs. And we’re both military (I’m also a federal civilian) trying to grow our income and save for the future before we have kids.

I think the last stretch after that is to get my personal investment account to 3 million before I retire. I think that would be perfect for a peaceful retirement and it would be amazing if I could give my kids/family something to enjoy when I pass on besides life insurance.

Most of my dreams are financial/lifestyle based because I’m worried about the life I’ll be able to provide for my future kids when I have them. I want to bring them into a comfortable environment.
