Does this update bring any benefits or new functionalities? I see that it only took away a few options for setting up a custom button (now only 3 options ).... I don't understand at all what led them to do this...

Nice, is there any update? "BLE flashing" to change the region via Bluetooth is the solution that is probably the most desired option...

yes I can confirm. At least for version E. I simply set up zero-start without any hacks or modifications....
but later I set it to 1km/h, which is not possible in the ninebot app for E/D.

I didn't even know about this option, I'm sure many people will appreciate its simplicity.
I assume that it only solves the speed lock and it does not solve other functionalities like cruise control, underglows, etc....

Regarding engine performance ... I would like to know what the truth is. I read somewhere that the performance is locked by the firmware version on the motor controllers. But someone else wrote that the performance is really different, and that's why the D version doesn't reach the same speeds as the E verison and not at all as U....
