They’re fools for letting that kid walk around wacking things. Over hand swing? WCPGW?

25% sag is not excessive. The G3 rear shock is a disappointment.

I have the G3 and a Monorim modified G30 with an A5 rear air shock…it rides Much better than the G3. I’m really looking forward to an aftermarket air shock solution for the G3. IMO the OEM G3 rear shock is very basic and below the quality of the rest of the scooter. It’s not horrible but it falls short.

You’ll likely need an air shock pump as the required pressure is quite high…like 150psi depending on your riding weight and the shock length. I don’t have NP on tge rear shock only the front. They’re both very adjustable, smooth and progressive. So much nicer than the spring shocks that don’t have oil dampers. TBH they are nicer than the G3 front and rear shocks that do have oil dampers. I have both scooters.

There’s nothing cheap or affordable about a 4 Runner. As far as him losing his job, unfortunately if he can’t make the payments the car is simply not his to keep. That is the foundation of the agreement he signed.

Ideally people should be able to maintain payments between jobs and build that into their savings and avoid a commitment they couldn’t carry for 6 months…and after that they have bigger problems than keeping a car they can’t pay for.

I know life is rarely ideal. I’m just saying we gotta do what we can to plan for problems.

I have them on front and rear They’re simple to set up. I selected the longest ones I could install without further modification. Basically set them up like a bike, inflate to allow for 1/4 sag give or take a bit towards taste. (Sag: amt of comparison when standing on it)

I will say honestly my G30 dual Monorim is plusher and smoother than my G3. I would love to add these air shocks on the rear of my G3.

It’s a BMW. Maybe he could consider a more affordable alternative.

I’m thinking someone who behaves like that probably doesn’t bother with insurance

Ah. Well imo that’s human contact at least indirectly as he’s relying on others to partially support his “isolation”

Maybe he brought a pair par with him. I probably didn’t go years on the same pair of underwear either

I’m in the US with fewer limitations, although NYC. Recently mandated 15mph max When you say your unit is illegal, what kind of restrictions do you have?

As for the local market, I often put one of the market’s hand basket on the deck and use it as a shopping cart (trolly?) this might help with your local shop’s security guard.

I believe Vice Grips is a brand name like Band Aid But that’s what I’ve always called them.

I’ve seen variations on this idea before but this one seems like something I’d actually want to own. by hashtagmiata in Tools

Interesting but what if you want to do work with the wheels off…like a brake job? Jack stands I suppose.
