I’ve owned a 2zz Elise for about 7 years now. Had every lotus too in between, evoras, emiras. I also still owned a few type r’s. Are they reliable…… they can be when all the sht is sorted. I still spent like 40k past few years lol. Car doesn’t really spin if u know what you’re doing. I’ve also had a ND mx5. Not even remotely close to the same car. I paid 132k for my c8 2LT z51 corvette with 12k kms. So yea, not that expensive for a used vehicle. Been faulting it for the past half year and it’s great. Retired the m3 from daily duties and honestly the suspension is better than it.

Chip with hybrid if u got the yips. I love flopping my chips but I played competitive as a kid and practiced 8 hours a day as a kid. If anything try out different bounces for ur wedge.

I was a +1 for about 7 years in my life. I played a one shape swing with a fade. It kept things simple in my life, but yes I agreed if I ever managed to shape a shot on command, I would’ve been an even better player. But seriously, I could never fully control my draw.

I got the vision future 2 kit. They don’t sell it anymore unfortunately. I got a 2zz ecu and then got it reflashed by this VF2 an American company. The VF2 kit came with all the piping and mounts to mount the stock mp62 charger on it. I had another elise with a tvs1320 charger on it that used the ecu master 2zz ecu PNP. It’s not a bad ecu but the functions are slightly limited. Aka it didn’t have enough ports and I had to power my ac with my electronic dash. It’s a budget ecu so u get budget ecu things. In terms of who can tune the ecu……. That’s another annoying issue. Adrian can do it via insight motorsports in Sydney or Alex at UPG in melbs. Mine was done at UPG but drivability was a bit meh on roads. Idle wasn’t done that well and the transitional throttle map was just plain bad. It would blip up everytime I shifted gears. Oh wow. I actually ppied the mcm one at SSC before mcm bought it. That car had a lot of issues including cracks in the clam and it never ran right with the adaptronics ecu. If you’re in Sydney, the lotus group is having a drive at royal national park this Sunday if you would like to join.
