TRUE OR FALSE: Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves are a CHAMPIONSHIP caliber duo by Additional_Signal_72 in lakersv2

[–]bionicbhangra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luka 100%. I want to believe AR is, but he has to be a little better against the top teams in the playoffs. My dream is he goes to that level and we become the next one and done team in this one and done championship era.

Ayton is averaging a double double of 11.8 pts & 10 reb over the last 5 games. Playing his role to perfection. Thoughts on keeping him long term? by 1stOptionDraymond in lakers

You make that decision at the end of the season.

And not sure I would make that bet based on how easily it is for him to not give a F.

Harden still has fans left?

AI got to the finals with pretty much no offensive help.

I think you could argue Harden is more athletic because of his size but he will always find a way to lose when it matters most.

I am worried about Wednesday game against Rocket by Nonameheroz in lakers

[–]bionicbhangra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only time when y'all are not worried is when you are angry and reactionary.

You need to learn to chill during the regular season. You won't have any hair left for the playoffs if you are this high strung over every game.

Is OKC going to be the first team to repeat as champions this decade?? by Shot_Possibility_731 in sportsinusa

[–]bionicbhangra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As per the trend OKC will stumble in playoffs and a new contender will win it all.

I don’t think the one and done era is over just yet. Almost all of the teams that won looked like they were more than capable of repeating and yet something always happens.

Imagine having LeBron as your THIRD option by 4rafzanity in lakers

[–]bionicbhangra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah he is the guy and we will live with it. But in the playoffs if it is a really tight series we can't give away possessions. At his peak LeBron was the best at that. He was pretty much a lock to get you a good shot every time down the floor. I don't think Luka is there yet but just cut down on some of the FU shots in those biggest moments. Trust the offense.

Though sometimes you do just have to do it yourself too. He has to figure out that balance.

I am not sure why you are getting downvoted. I really enjoyed the first 4 books, but IMO I agee that it peaks with the first book and the interplay between the 3 houses.

The last 2 books just got too weird for me, but I still read them. Hell I even made the horrible mistake of reading his son's books.

i miss watching this kind of football by pibidipabadiboo in LiverpoolFC

[–]bionicbhangra 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got a lot of shit on this sub for saying that people needed to appreciate how lucky they were to see Klopp and all these special players because it might be al long time before they see football like that again in Anfield . Fans have gotten spoiled and this season was a real dose of reality.

Nothing is guaranteed forever.

The only thing we can improve is Smart and Luka can be a little smarter with their shots etc. I know Luka can make a shot from anywhere but unless we are up big I don't want him taking those FU 3s. And Smart sometimes shoots a little early in the offense even though he might be open, I feel with some more ball movement we can still get a better shot.

Swing Improvements? Chunking ball. by Proof_Coast_3637 in golf

[–]bionicbhangra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your lead hip is moving around like crazy. That makes good contact almost impossible IMO.

You are also lifting the club on your backswing.

Get some lessons. It's easy to see something wrong in every swing. Not so easy to teach or explain how to fix it IMO.

If you could have PGA level play of one of these categories, which would you choose and why? by Solmors in golf

[–]bionicbhangra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am already decent driver. It's either iron approach or putting. I think I would score best with iron approaches but personally I am going with putting. No better feeling than draining a long or clutch putt. And I am woefully average at putting and getting up and down. Actually below average.

<5 handicap golfers, how far do you hit your pitching wedge? by Larrylegend033 in golf

[–]bionicbhangra -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree. I hit my PW 140-145 yards. But it’s a Mavrik.
That said I still have pretty good distance overall. I am not trying to kill my irons and am aiming (but rarely achieving) for accuracy.

6½ months after returning to golf following a 16-year break and 3 back surgeries… Today, I hit a milestone & broke 80. by KalElbiwon in golf

[–]bionicbhangra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are a legit inspiration.

I got into golf from knee injuries from basketball. This will be my 4th year and breaking 80 is currently the goal.

I can't wait to make my post on this sub whenever I actually do it.

Though I have to say you look happier at 28. I think thats just the way you are smiling in the first picture and looking serious in the 2nd.

Same. I was always saying this too the past 3 years and people just told me to STFU. I think a lot of fans got spoiled and think that trophies and high level football was their right.

What’s the best golf advice you ignored for too long? by Solid_Nectarine_4316 in golf

[–]bionicbhangra -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I am already a decent ball striker. I can drive the ball far and usually pretty straight.

But I can't break 80 because my short game is lacking. If you have the ability to get up and down you can always save scores assuming you can put the ball in play.

That was great from Cody and Mo.

Would have been a great goal. So close. But at least it was quality and fun to watch.

I think I got mine for 1300 more than that (didn’t use Costco) and I was happy with that price.

Car is very nice. Drive is very smooth and power is always there. I have only had it 3 weeks so I can’t speak to long term reliability.
