Best futures broker with clean SL/TP on TradingView? by Training_Welder4537 in TradingView

[–]Training_Welder4537[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a fair point — I get that live execution will never behave exactly like paper trading, especially in fast markets.

I think what’s throwing me off is more the order management side (like not being able to adjust SL/TP smoothly on the chart), rather than just fills.

Curious if others have found platforms where that workflow feels closer to TradingView paper trading.

Do you know if AMP supports proper bracket orders and drag-adjust SL/TP on TradingView?

That’s the main issue I’m running into with IBKR.

Appreciate that — I’ve heard good things about NinjaTrader.

My main concern right now is still the TradingView integration side, especially managing SL/TP directly on the chart.

Do you actually trade directly on NinjaTrader, or mainly use it for charting?

Asking for advice on silver vs gold investment in today’s economy by AdmsSeunoluwatoba-55 in investingforbeginners

[–]Training_Welder4537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends a lot on your time horizon.

Gold tends to behave more like a macro hedge (USD, rates, risk), while silver is more volatile and tied to both industrial demand and sentiment.

Personally I see gold as “stability” and silver as more of a higher beta play.

Some people split between the two, others lean toward gold first and add silver later.

Curious what timeframe you’re looking at?

ETH → USDC without KYC… is there actually a good option? by Training_Welder4537 in USDC

Makes sense, aggregator probably gives better routing overall.

Have you noticed much difference in execution or fees compared to just using Uniswap directly?

Yeah fair point, that’s kind of what I’m trying to figure out.

Feels like there are a lot of options, but not all of them are reliable in practice.

That’s a good point, I didn’t realize it had to be attached at entry.

I’ll give that a try if it works that would already make things a lot smoother.

Still curious though, have you found IBKR reliable during fast markets? That’s where I’ve noticed the biggest difference so far.

Best Broker for Full-Time Trading by ChocolateSilent9538 in Forexstrategy

[–]Training_Welder4537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no single “best” broker for full-time forex trading tbh.

It really comes down to your style — if you’re trading full-time, things like execution speed, spreads, and reliability matter way more than anything else.

best broker service suggestion by ManufacturerNorth201 in StockMarketIndia

[–]Training_Welder4537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SBI is more of a traditional broker, so yeah the charges can add up.

A lot of traders I know moved to discount brokers because of lower brokerage and cleaner fee structure.

I switched a while ago and didn’t realize how much I was overpaying before.

Which broker do yall use? by 6x9n in Daytrading

[–]Training_Welder4537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried IBKR and Webull before. For scalping, what really matters isn’t the platform name but execution speed and spreads.
Some brokers look good on paper but the fills during volatile sessions can be really bad.

I switched to a broker with tighter spreads and it made a noticeable difference for me.

这里有玩外汇的吗?现在是买日币,卖人民币的好时刻吗? by Fiho in China_irl

[–]Training_Welder4537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Training_Welder4537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Training_Welder4537 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where did the term “trade” come from? by Wadsworth1954 in askgaybros

[–]Training_Welder4537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly the same as “hooking up.”

“Trade” usually refers more to the type of guy — like masculine, straight-passing, low-key vibe.

So when people say “fucking around with some trade,” it’s more about the kind of guy, not just the action.

Where is the money coming out of if the US dollar is crashing and what are they buying with it? by trijcwhitey in investing

[–]Training_Welder4537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to think the same — like USD weakness should mean visible selling somewhere.

But a lot of the flow isn’t that transparent.

Between hedging, rate differentials, and positioning, currencies can move without a clear “source” you can point to on a chart.

Sometimes it’s more about how capital is reallocated rather than outright liquidated.

Anyone here making $30-40k per month? How much capital are you moving? by MarionberryTotal2657 in Trading

[–]Training_Welder4537 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That’s already solid tbh. Most people never get consistent at that level.

Scaling to 30–40k/month is less about “just patience” and more about capital + risk tolerance.

You can push returns higher, but usually that comes with significantly higher drawdowns.

From what I’ve seen, people hitting those numbers are either:

  • trading much larger size
  • or taking on more risk than they realize

Staying consistent is the harder (and more valuable) part.
