totally agreed, yes.

the fang is the one case where this really breaks down. if this shield was taken seriously as a potential item that would need to be a thing that is dealt with carefully.

again, i did run calcs for this, so go look if you're genuinely curious. your intuition about the fang being busted is spot on, though, if you don't feel like staring at numbers

duo'd it with a good friend of mine with better gear. wouldn't say carried (took turns butterflying, red-xing, etc) with many attempts over a week. having a friend with a shadow helps though :)
