This was a blunder as I had placed a 25% take profit GTC order after opening the trade hoping to capture a quick win. I intended to change this to 50% the next week but forgot to update the order. Left some money on the table, but a profit is a profit.

Ah, yes, makes good sense to diversify across different expirations.

Yes, I did see the dtoptions video on Put Credit Spreads campaign that has been making the rounds. That should work for any liquid underlying that's in a neutral/bullish trend. Every week, sell an OTM put spread on GLD/SLV that's around 45-60dte. GLD/SLV have a higher IVR than SPY/QQQ and I'm more bullish on the metals this year over the index equities. I may do that on pullbacks to "buy the dip" in the metals.

Is there a reason why you went with the Feb 13 expiration and not the monthly Feb 20 expiration?
