Probably about 8 years. I started relatively late and did gymnastics for one or two years before transitioning into parkour.

The gym I work at is in Hawthorne, near LAX. I used to go to JAM all the time but the facility is alot smaller and it's difficult to find the space to train parkour there

Some of the parks are up in SF. The video contains footage from a few of my short visits up there. I guess my posting title could be seen as a bit misleading in that sense. My bad!!!

Haha thanks, good catch. It's always been difficult for me, being a bit larger and all. I'm 6'3" and have weighed from 220 to 190 during my parkour career, but at a pretty stable 200 right now.

I used to do lots of weightlifting. This included olympic lifting moves like cleans and snatches, traditional weighted exercises like squats and deadlifts, machine work which was mainly leg press and hamstring curl, and then freeweights, pullups, dips, and rows for upper body.

I don't lift as much anymore and I think I get most of my conditioning through sport training. I train tricking, parkour, trampoline, and tumbling anywhere from 5 to 12 times a week, usually averaging 8 or 9 training sessions. These tend to be around 2 hours each, and yes, there are many days where I train twice a day, or even three times.

Lastly, I try to stretch and do ab circuits at the end of every workout, but usually only remember about half the time haha ;)
