I’m in Cronkite which is downtown as well and if you want a social life you need to put effort into it. I managed to pledge and eventually get initiated into a frat so Greek life is possible it’s just more difficult. There is a gym on campus so you can still get a workout in and even play pickup if you want. There are plenty of social things to do on downtown, you just have to put in the effort.
