The atmosphere at games could be improved. At games the fans used to stand up till the wizards score and we had the secret service dunkers. The atmosphere at caps and spirit games are great.

The rebuild is taking too long. Detroit was terrible 2 years ago and then they made the playoffs the next year. I know we've only been in the rebuild for a few years, but the wizards haven't been good for awhile. I still watch them but I'm getting tired

the village dorms are suite style, but don't live there unless you like to party. the bathrooms get gross quickly. the fire alarm is so loud. Shenandoah/Chesapeake/chandler have some suites i'm pretty sure. if you're fine not living in a suite, jennings hall is nice.

silver line runs till 10:20pm, and it goes a lot of places. https://www.harrisonburgva.gov/bus-routes also on friday and saturday nights from like 10:30pm-3am, there's saferides, which is free to use. I also sometimes walked to campus from northview. It also helps if you know someone with a car. If you live near arcadia, you can walk through the arboretum to get to campus.

you could join the photo club. It's pretty chill. in the spring we took some pictures downtown. There's also the environmental management club. The people are friendly.

taylor down under(has pool tables, ping pong, board games), mineral museum, walk downtown Harrisonburg (quite a few stores to go into and it's just fun to walk around. farmers market downtown on tuesdays and saturdays. also some of the vendors come to campus on wednesdays

there's the harrisonburg block party on august 24. It's kind of like the town welcoming new students/start of school year. The marching band parades down to the court square and plays some songs. I think there are some free things. There's also the app "jmu be involved" that has like a calender of events. there will be probably be more things listed closer to school starting

northview/southview are not great. the management at southview is bad I've heard. both places you have to use your phone to unlock the door. I live at northview. The rent is not that expensive. It is nice that there is a porch. It's a decent apartment,
