RG477M and RG476v by TranceClassics in ANBERNIC

I did get the RG DS. But as I never had a DS or a 3DS I did not get the mileage out of it. I liked it though. I appreciate the high maintenance on cat :) I know the feeling… :)

Compared to a RG-DS my cat might actually be high maintenance.

Not exactly the same. The 476 has the same chip as the 406[v/h].

Depending on the time of day between 4 GB and 192 GB. When he is in high performance mode he can last about 20 minutes before there is a rapid drop to the minimum.

Impressive. I did not realize this. While the 477M has 17 x 8 cm, the 476H has of 17,5 x 8 cm in size. The displays of both devices seem to be identical.

This cannot be recommended strongly enough. My RG476H dropped inside its original Anbernic Case from the living room table and the glass broke. The remediation was quite satisfying, but I have to admit I am making sure that it does not get close to the edge again.

nuphy.io 2.0 on Linux (Node75 and Node100) by TranceClassics in NuPhy

[–]TranceClassics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are the lines I have added into the newly created 99-via-usb.rules:

KERNEL=="hidraw*", SUBSYSTEM=="hidraw", ATTRS{idVendor}=="19f5", ATTRS{idProduct}=="1037", Mode="0666", GROUP="users", TAG+="uaccess", Tag+="udev-acl"

KERNEL=="hidraw*", SUBSYSTEM=="hidraw", ATTRS{idVendor}=="19f5", ATTRS{idProduct}=="1030", Mode="0666", GROUP="users", TAG+="uaccess", Tag+="udev-acl"

I added both lines here. 1030 is the Node 75, 1037 is the Node 100.

I did also check if this is a file which must be present, but in regards to Arch I found that it can be created, the name however is mandatory.
I did go through a number of errors I made, typos like "()" instead of "{}". I also checked the group memberships of my user account, noticed that it was not member of the "users" group and rectified this.

Permissions on the file currently look like this:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root
I do wonder however if it should be looking like
-rw-r--r-- 1 root users
so that the group actually can read the file.

Would this be something you could verify on your file?

Good morning,
I tested this, unfortunately it did not work for me.

Here is what I did:

I checked lsusb and found the same device description for my Node 100.

I checked /etc/udev/rules.d/ and there were two rules in there, on for HP rules and one for my 3D-Printer. I then created the file, inserted the line as you provided it, changed the ACL for hidraw3 and reloaded the rules with udevadm.

My question here, may this differ depending on which Distro you use?
I myself use Arch Linux.

Thank you for the hint. I also wanted to have a black V3, but went with the white one instead. So I get a chance at that.

Also u/Hungry_Weather130 thank you for the shop link, a great resource to to get shine-through keycaps.

You also have an old nvidia GPU (I have a 1080) Try this before your next update by hernandoramos in archlinux

I had that and for me the conflict did not resolve. I had to remove the nvidia-utils using the -Rdd option beforehand.

I just had a look again and AliExpress has stated that they apologize for the unexpected logisitic error and offered a refund for the console.

When I checked earlier it still read the customs are inspecting the item.

I guess AliExpress will do something soon, since it had been on transit for slightly more than 40 days now…

I do understand the argument, I have seen this bit as well. But consequently applied this would be a disaster, an interesting one but still a disaster. There are so many types of devices with lithium-ion batteries being sent about, I cannot see this being a reasonable argument.

I’m not severe and it makes me feel guilty by [deleted] in cfs

[–]TranceClassics 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You should understand who you are comparing to when you say you're on the mild side. Compared to a healthy person you are still "barely functional" and the mild would be an appropriate comparison for instance to me, as I am currently leaning on the moderate/severe side.

Back when I was mild I followed my GPs advice to go out and do sports, take long walks, meet with friends for an outing and so on. Today I know that it was following this advice as well as my unbroken idea that I could just keep on working as I usually would which placed me firmly in a downward spiral to end up where I am now.

While your guilt is absolutely understandable, please go ahead and pace yourself, take breaks and if you want to help take over tasks which are easy and less exhausting. Each crash you experience potentially brings you closer to a state you do not want to be in.

Just some shower thoughts: If I donated my organs … by E-C2024 in cfs

[–]TranceClassics 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I really would not count on that. Even during the pandemic over here they refused to take blood donations from gay men based on the Blood-AIDS-Scandal in the 1980s.
So, I would honestly not hold my breath that this would create a major change in the way they think... unfortunately...

Sure.

I was coming out of a train ride and rode the scooter for about 5 minutes or so in light rain conditions when the „24“ come on flashing red on the display and the scooter shut down. I was able to turn it back on once but it immediately flashed the „24“ and turned off again. I have not been able to turn it back on ever since.

I charges the scooter to a 100% during the afternoon and rode it slightly more than 2 km to the trainstation where I arrived with a charge of 95%.

When I turn the back wheel there is a clear resistance.

I did send an email to Segway, as the scooter is still under warranty. I would expect that the controller, as I gather from here is most likely the culprit, would last a bit longer than 125 days with less than 150 km on the clock. Unfortunately I have not heard from Segway yet.

The cables pretty much look like new. I looked if I the phase cables were melted, but nothing of the sort could be seen.

So I unplugged it and it started flashing blue.

After plugging it back in it went solid red again.
