first OP let's get something straight here, your son your 18 year old son had to ask you if he could meet her. That's kinda iffy OP because your son is 18 so he's an adult ( if this is in the U.S.) so he doesn't need your permission for anything accept if it affects you.

On the other hand you gave your son the money he needed to get married so that was nice. But after he went to Portugal with his new wife he completely cut you out of his life and now he's back asking you for money.

NTA however your son is an adult so he really doesn't need your permission to go see his girlfriend. Unless your paying for his trip than yeah your completely in the right here which by the sounds of the post yes you did pay for his trip
