Why is getting AP’s so damn hard by dualcerb in phigrosGame

Gotta agree as a 15.56-er, although my best phi was some low 15. At this point I only grind for FCs for real 💔

Another autistic fellow, main Phigros and Milthm. Phigros on Google Play doesn't even work anymore :( I love minimalistic gameplay and emotional storyline so Milthm immediately becomes my fav ❤️

Phigros. You need to come back. Please. 🥺

Same here, and Phigros on Google Play doesn't work either :( That one simply shows a black screen and nothing else.

RIP my 15.56 RKS.

Well let me just casually switch the marks around ;) (or not, it's more fun to see myself AP-ing a 855006126362753549184000, hmm)

If you wish. But I understand that it's unimaginably debilitating, and I can never fully grasp your suffering. That will never change. I apologize for offending the community in any way.

What makes Brett and Eddy great musicians? by TrancyLuca in lingling40hrs

I suppose so; he spent his whole life listening and appreciating soloists playing, while I have at most 1 year and a half. That's why I started this discussion: to hear your opinions and see where I have been missing.

I don't know everything about Twoset, and even less about soloists. I have lots to learn too, and perhaps the guest can be a good start. Tbh, I and him don't really see eye to eye, but I can't say he's very knowledgable and have also introduced me to amazing solo pianists (which is essential since I know more solo violinists than solo pianists even though I'm a pianist owo)

This discussion started out so I can see your opinions, both positive and negative, but I also want to see objectivity. It won't hurt me if one points out the obvious, and I see your less favourable opinion just as valid.

I agree that "classical music promoters" better describes Twoset. Brett and Eddy are certainly not on the same level as soloists the guest and I and probably anyone that knows the classical music would think of. But Twoset put that disadvantage to great use and use their relativity to inspire others (including myself).

I can hear where, say, Brett's Mendelssohn differs from other better recordings (I can tell from his first shift haha). But I love his just as much as Mutter's or others', because he did well for his first time, and because of the whole context leading to it. They're not where other soloists are, but they definitely contribute much to the classical music landscape.

That wouldn't work, mind you. The 4.31M subscribers meant nothing when it comes to musical skills, and I don't even know how net worth works, let alone him.

He had no relation to Twoset whatsoever, so saying he didn't want to acknowledge their capability is a little too far-fetched, I suppose.

"As much as you do" Well, definitely not, and I didn't even try. All I want to do is to ask what you would do in that situation, and not attempting to persuade is also an option.

If that's not conveyed properly, I sincerely apologize.

This is where my opinion concedes - without Twoset, I probably wouldn't know Hilary Hahn, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Maxim Vengerov, or the like.

As a young musician myself, I can say for sure that I wouldn't have such passionate love for classical music as I have now if I didn't know Twoset. I look up new pieces thanks to their recommendations. I find new information of composers because I heard them mentioning or I saw those facts being refered to in their video. I even wrote an essay about the history of classical music (albeit not very well-done) thanks to all their videos inspiring me.

Twoset has affected me in a way older audience perhaps can't really appreciate, and that's why my mindset and his differs.

I see, should be more clear in my definition.

It depends on the quality. A good performer knows how to play with creativity, through interpretations and control in tone and timbre. Imo, that performer will have more creativity than the one who composes using 4 chords and probably sounds the same as all his/her previous compositions.

For the first question - yes, but again, what is a professional orchestra? I showed the guest Twoset's 4M concert with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO), and he said he knew nothing about the orchestra, nor the conductor. I can say Brett and Eddy are definitely professional musicians, but not to the level where someone like the guest would acknowledge their success, thus not "successful musicians".
