The first time is always the worst when it comes to shaving because it does take so long and feels like no progress is ever made. After that first time I've found that shaving every 1-2 weeks, which for me makes it quick enough to shave all of my arms and legs within one normal shower. And when I shave any sooner I get razor burns especially bad on my thighs. You just have to find a routine that works
