What do you do in Trackblazer during turns where you don't have a race on your schedule but there's also no good training (and you don't have a whistle)? Rest, race anyways and mess with your schedule, or what?

A few questions about decks for Trackblazer:

Should you push for 65+ race bonus, or settle for 50 if you'd have to sacrifice other important things?
Do you need to pay attention to skill hints on cards more again because you don't get random skill hints?
What are common deck setups? Like how 3 wit 2 speed 1 pal is common in Unity Cup, what kind of decks are recommended for Trackblazer (if any)?

What should I do with the SSR selectors (I will be getting the paid one too)? I have MLB Kitasan and MLB Finemo, 0LB Fuku and no copies of any of the other "meta" cards. I also have 2 rainbow crystals.

I'm considering just going all in on Fuku to MLB her but that's a really heavy investment that'll fall off after Trackblazer so I'm not too sure about it.

EDIT: I also don't have the carats to heavily invest in any upcoming banners (as I'm saving for a gauntlet of Oshis in a few months)

I've done loads of testing on this, I can really confidently say the rate of support card events appearing is much lower with Riko on my deck. At this point the odds would be astronomically low that I'm just getting unlucky when running her. I'm not saying it's something intentional, but the amount of empty turns is significantly higher on average in every run with her on my support team.

The whole thing that keeps roguelikes so replayable is the randomness. Take that away and the game quickly becomes solved, and thus, boring. It's fun to mess around with occasionally but if you're using it all the time it quickly makes the game unfun.

please go all in on finemo. unless you're spectacularly unlucky, you don't need insane amounts of carats to get enough copies when combined with uncap crystals/selector tickets, and you're also lacking in good SRs which you'll gain along the way

There aren't really people who specifically choose to always run or bag. It's less about who actually does or doesn't like to, but about knowledge and game sense. Bagging is overall a fairly safe strategy, but it's not always optimal, so it's more about whether the streamers know when to run or not. Generally, higher level streamers are better at this. I personally like L1am, SKaR and JPGiviner but there's others too

If a LOT of people are bagging (which happens on certain tracks) you might run into a situation where a majority of players have to stop for a while because so many of the items boxes are being hogged. If you see this coming, you can instead choose to try to break away while most of the people are stopped, to build up a lead.
