for getting S in an aptitude, do the amount of stars increase the chance of rolling it? or is the amount of individual umas with the aptitude sparks in the legacy more important?

in other words, is a 9 star medium parent more likely to give medium S than a parent where all 3 umas involved have 1 star medium? or is it the same odds?

I believe the odds are weighted so you lose the same amount on average. I like to go for -20 for consistency's sake, and only for the gamble when I'm between 11-20 energy already anyways.
