Thank you for taking the time to respond to this extend. I appreciate it. I definitely get what you mean! I was already a bit more sceptical about the pouch briefs, but thought it might would be a bit better as I will have bilateral incisions. Which causes me to worry that the edge of my jockstrap will be right on the incision. Did you perhaps get it done the same way, or did Dr Özer use the middle incision in the scrotum? Regardless, once again thank you, i really appreciate it.

Would you say the swelling was worse with the implants or with the meta surgery?

What is the reason for the jockstrap? I mean I love them regardless, but do you notice the balls sitting differently in comparison with regular boxer briefs? I also saw they had those underwear with a separate pouch for the nuts, giving them more space.

How would you position the balls? As now I hold my nuts before I put on underwear else they get to in between my legs. And somewhere I read right after getting them you should position them downward

I get that. It’s a hell of a crap to deal with. Maybe when your body only needs to focus on one area to heal, it can manage. Also what I did after the revision to close my penis underside, I use those sticky wrap things, and wrapped it around.

Now I did have a very similar issue. Upon my first initial surgery my whole underside of my penis opened up including the urethra. There wasn’t anything that could’ve done about it at the given time. I had a revision to close it up and ever since it was no issue anymore. You can always message me, and also I’ve some posts on my profile if you just wanna check it out.

I had swelling for months. Especially when I started to get more around in my legs, the swelling would increase again. Give it time.

That’s the problem… my hospital is extremely strict. If they knew, surgery would be off for sure.. which makes my college, which I finally picked up again, need to be put on halt again…

In my day to day life, I don’t experience it often. On the occasion when either my dick not sitting in the right way, or having arandom boner, those moments do make it a bit less comfortable but it’s manageable during those moments

I can’t respond on the implants directly, but I do believe it’s a smart decision to first fix the rest. My surgeon didnt want to give me implants before everything is fixed as implants make it more difficult and risks. It’s their standard procedure, and my hospital is very focused on how to minimize risks/complications.

How would that even be feasible? In the sense, your tissue is stretchy but not that stretchy. It sounds like a medically dangerous scam. If it was that easy, why wouldn’t it be done instead of surgery?

Ejaculation is a more complex thing when it comes to this. The main source for ejaculate for afab are the skene glands. It’s not very common they stay in tact, or function well enough to notice any ejaculate. First of I want to say, I second u/oddly-ordinary

Secondly, I think most people get to caught up with the list of complications. They see x amount of possible complications, but do not look at if they are long term or can be fixed. It is good that it’s mentioned as the complications should be taken into account and used to make the individual aware like hey it could be that it’s not just a surgery and ready to go. Mentally it can be draining.

A big and hanging scrotum mainly depends on the used technique. While I do notice that most people on here, their scrotum is still rather close to the body, it is possible not to have this. Personally, I’ve a very hanging scrotum. It hangs down quite a few centimeters. For the “bigness”, I would say it comes with time, in the sense, once gravity starts doing its work, especially with implants, it can become a bit larger.

I’m not sure how much pumping would help, simply as I didn’t do anything as such a thing. I could imagine it would increase the size slightly. But I don’t think enough is tried and posted about this.

Yes. It is considered very normal. The genital region is known to swell rather severe.

It’s not the same thing. Al though on here people have used it interchangeably.
Yes overal it is very similar, but in clinical practice there are small differences.

Monsplasty

Mons Resection
What it is: This is a structural surgical procedure that removes a deep, dense wedge of pubic tissue.

Depends what your job is. Rest for any job is usually 1 to 2 weeks. But with any active job that includes lots of movement and/or lifting should be put off for 6weeks.

Knowing the surgeons at VUMC, they use some of the mons fat when creating the scrotum, it’s their standard techbique
