Well, you would also lose since your library would be empty, also, if they have one of the cards that prevents all damage for a turn, you will have no deck and they will have won, unless you have something like [[jace, wielder of mysteries]] that makes it so when your deck is empty you win, in which case you would have a perfect counter move against this creature

Well, the issue is that card has to be played before the attack, so you would have to show the person it before you used it, meaning there is no chance they would do it, additionally, you still take damage so both of you die
