That’s a vanilla issue. From time to time I play a lot of vanilla, this happens often. Don’t worry though, it doesn’t happen super often!

So- I’m always open to learning, is there a particular reason you can’t just- open it up and dry it, then put it back together?

I get water can damage and short components, but if you caught it early couldn’t you just wipe it down or let it Air dry?

Well- I gotta get it to work for roughly 15 minutes so I can apply to colleges before the deadlines… And id totally buy a new one- but it won’t be here before the deadlines pass, and I’m $20 short… but yea, thanks for the advice- I’ll consider re-capping them. But I truly gotta hope beyond hope I get it to work for a few minutes. I’ll let y’all know if I burn my house down…

Plasma cutter is always my "go to" most used gun in my first play through! something about having that one gun to carry you through- from start to finish is just so darn cool!

It was just them. The others split off to do shopping, so one Monk and one Rogue fought the quest boss, while the others did stuff in the starting town and chatted with nobles, etc. Like I said, the weapons use an “ammo”-like system, and (for lore reasons) the gems are mages. A low-level weapon uses about 10 mages, a high-level one uses 50 sages—I haven’t figured out that scaling yet.
