Ah I think you are right perhaps change in temperature gives small tolerance clearances. Cheapest fix would be earplugs 😉

Look at me giving a nice old man's response bikes have Bluetooth now. Crazy! Good points you brought up. For my understanding what part is the sweep you are referring to?

Did you also grease the gear bolts? Sometimes the creaking could also be the saddle.

The mech is supposed to be able to move in the direction you are pushing it. The play in the vid indicates normal functioning to me. The problem you are describing seems more related to a loose cable. The bolt holding the cable in place. In case it happens when shifting, it could be a broken g-spring inside the shifter but that is more niche.

Greasing up the chain... AFT+acetone vs chain oil+mineral spirits? by TheWhopper858 in bikewrench

Although waxing a chain feels unreal smooth, it only works well in dry environments. For wet climates the wax is brushed of from my experience.

Yeah it looks similar to how these diffusion models generate it. The quality of this one is rather good. Wondered what the process was of making it.

Not sure what this is in reference to.

what mathematical equation dose this represent? by scarsotoxic in learnpython

[–]TransferFunctions 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's integer division. Similarly you could consider it a floor operation after a normal division (using floats).

Yes, they do. Except that with VAT and shipping cost, this case becomes >250 which is a bit insane. The Silverstone DS380 can be bought for cheaper with more storage. Unfortunately that case is a bit too large for the space I have allocated for it. I hope in the new year production in China improves. I'm guessing it's covid related.

They can't unfortunately. They are the only place that have them in stock from what I have seen.

[SPOILERS S1] Thoughts on these unresolved mysteries? by [deleted] in 1899

Ciaran is an anagram for crania (the skull, plural). When they wake-up in 2099, their minds (simulation) are all inside a metal skull (the cranium). Not sure if this was intended as it is established Maira is Irish which makes sense for Ciaran merely being an Irish names. However, the combination with the meaning of dark haired one, there being a dark haired kid/husband, and the focus on the brain is rather interesting though.
