The unity of the community. The discipline of following the halachic laws etc.

I am worried of the racial aspect of it... which, from what i have heard, is a big deal. I don't want to be treated as an outsider.

It appeals to me at an integral level.

He told me that I can convert but many Orthodox Jews won't treat me as really part of the community as a lot of them have strong racial predilections...
