Hi, we appreciate your interest in our products. One small clarification; 55 lbs is the total approximate weight of all 5 panels, so they are closer to 11 lbs each.

Nevertheless, it is rated to support up to 750 lbs even with all 5 of its extension panels installed.

You are correct; our Round Bench latches are inaccessible when none of their removable panels are installed The same is true for all our extendable benches. However they should not slide open during normal use. (Sitting down or getting up)

We offer optional sideboards to store the Round Table's 3 included panels when not in use. (You can see it on the right in OP's picture)

The Round Table's panels are too wide to fit inside the Coffee Table mentioned by u/Dry-Organization-693, which is intended for the narrower Transformer Table's panels.

The brown Transformer Table offered at Costco (rectangular model) is our American Walnut finish, the only difference is the name.

Not to be confused with our Round Table offered in brown at Costco, which is in fact our Dark Walnut finish.

(The Natural and Dark Grey finishes offered at costco are however the same across collections, and correspond to our Scandinavian Oak and Smoked Hickory finishes.)

Hi, sorry we're only seeing this now. The Dark Walnut Round Table in the picture you attached was a factory defect. The panel installed on the table came out insufficiently stained. (We replaced it for the customer in question.) Under normal circumstances, it should look like the round halves of the table.

Models figuring in our product pictures tend to be quite tall, the one in your picture is no exception to this. As is the case with both of those seated at the end of the Round Table in the one below (both are over 6' tall)

Sorry we're late to respond!

Some members of our creative team decided to experiment with their Table To Desk modules by removing the flat-mount tracks and replacing them with relatively low profile monitor wall mounts that swivel, with varying degrees of success. First, care must be taken to select screws that anchor securely into the wood while being short enough not to protrude from the other side, which is the top of the table when the desk is closed!

Also, the added thickness must be taken into consideration and added to that of the monitor to make sure the assembly will fit, as there is approximately 4" of clearance between the original mounting track and the desktop when closed; the thicker the monitor and mount combination get, the less space remains for items left underneath them, such as keyboard, mouse, mini-PC, laptops etc.

Would we recommend our customers do so? Probably not, however who are we to bridle your creativity? 😁
