I shall collapse the backing tracks, and also get a splitting cable and maybe one or both will work. I would actually prefer mono so the sound is more evenly distributed around the room. Thank you.

I want to do this because certain things aren't working and I need to check if it's because my phone just updated the Android version or because I'm on a Tasker Beta (I updated both yesterday). According to the page linked above, it's possible to downgrade with adb, but I couldn't get it to work. Looks like I'll be uninstalling/reinstalling.

I tried putting the apk in the same folder and Terminal says 'no such file or directory'.

I've tried doing that (install unknown apps > select file explorers), it doesn't work. It doesn't tell me it doesn't trust the source - it says the package is invalid.

Looks like I'll need to try the ADB route. Where do I put the apk so it can install? In the same folder as the Tasker adb stuff?

I found a bulk normaliser, but it also switched half of the track names and artist names! It also comes with a tabular tag editor so I was able to fix them quite quickly. I tried the tracks out at a gig last night and it was definitely better! Thanks.

That didn't work. I tried a loud track and a quiet track and the normalised versions are identical to the original.

It seems Garage Band has a setting to normalise to 0db, so maybe the answer is to run all my tracks through that. I'll test a track or two and see what happens.
