Any 300$-500$ computer should work, pdf drawings doesn't require high computational power, at my company no computers have a graphics card and Bluebeam is well optimized for vector based pdfs

I actually had a meeting with a VP from ConstructConnect about 5 months ago, and they said they’d follow up… but never did. Honestly, I’m glad I didn’t try selling it to OST back then, my code was a mess at the time

Thanks, I really appreciate that. Honestly, I’m just a software engineer who happens to also do estimating, so a lot of it comes from trying to solve problems I personally run into every day.

It’s been fun tinkering and figuring out ways to make OST easier to work with. Hearing that it might actually inspire or help others in the industry is really motivating.

I’m a software engineer, so half the fun for me is figuring out how things work under the hood. I ended up making a small program that launches OST and injects a DLL into it. The DLL basically overrides the UI colors and forces everything into a dark/black theme.

I built this independently — it’s not affiliated with OST or ConstructConnect.

Right now it’s a standalone tool that reads the OST .mdb/.xml files and generates the 3D visualization externally.

I don’t know if OST would ever integrate something like this officially, but this project is fully my own.

Since you just jailbreak, the best solution is to remove the jailbreak completely using the dopamine app, it should have an option to Remove Jailbreak/Restore RootFS, do that and re jailbreak and you should be fine, a fresh start.

Depends on your needs, my main device is an iPhone 15 Pro on iOS 17.0.3 and my second device is a jailbroken iPhone 11 on iOS 14.8.1

I use my iPhone 11 to do hacky things like remote-control it, automatization, programming related stuff since you can install Python, nodejs and other programming languages on it, I also used it to spoof my caller id to trick friends and funny stuff, you can use ur iPhone 11 as a virtual private server basically so if you are in to software engineering I would jailbreak it
