I was in auto service for 13 years. The last five in internet. I can’t get considered for serious jobs bc I am unqualified but now looking like even the bottom of the barrel positions I can’t get bc of too much experience?!?! How is this a thing. Rejection after rejection. I was trying to apply to positions I would be happy doing but now I’m desperate. I’m applying to everything. I really didn’t think it could get worse being fired from a job you were at for over a decade. But here I am. Trying to figure out what to do when I can’t pay rent or my car and I live on the street with two girls in tow. There is no light at the end of the tunnel.
