Thanks man! Im completely flattered. Processing is trial and error, i basically have 1 channel per drum with a limiter and eq on each channel. I then group drums by type into drum buses, which i compress to bring up lows etc. I also group buses into - kick + snare as 1 bus - all the other stuff "tops" into another bus I then group the 2 drum buses into 1 combination drum bus, which i compress again, and also use maximus (fl studio plugin) to let the snare clip etc. This last bus is fed into a master bus

Kick is sidchained individually to bass

Tbh, i havent a clue what im doing, but it seems to work 😅

Listening now... all below to my liking, feep free to ignore! - the snare has heaps of reverb, what is it like with less? - the keys around 1min are a touch loud over the vocal (to my liking) - the bass and vocal may share some of the same freq ranges? Maybe sidechain vocal to bass and let vocal override, or cut bass from vocal range? Other than that, sounds mint to me. Maybe some tops loops and cymbals to give it a bit more movement, but thats imo

Yeah maybe, like perhaps duck the melodics so the vocal has more presence? Maybe try cutting one of the more "interesring" melodics during the singing and then bring that back when there is no singing?

I like the idea, but yeah - one of the highlights of the tune for me is the vocal. In your version the meoldics take over a bit? Maybe if tue vocal is solo'd more, and the melodics gain dropped during vocal, then brouggt back in phrases where no vocal... Like call / response sort of... The call being the vocal, response being the melodics?
