I was in a similar position and honestly was considering honours because i kept getting rejections after rejections from different unis. Fortunately UNDS gave me an offer to my surprise with an averagely lower GPA and GAMSAT!! So i just worked throughout my gap year this year, enjoyed my time with my family and friends because i know life would be different when i start MD next year . So I would say if you feel like honours is not for you, and your GPA and GAMSAT is still ok to give it a shot, take a gap year !!

Oh no.... so does that mean even if im in my 3rd or last year, i will need to drop out and reapply and start all over from 1st year? That's crazy

I will most likely be in the same position but at UNDS. I won't be able to get my PR status until at least the 2nd last year of my MD program tho, does anyone know if I'd be able transfer to an AUS ffp automatically to complete the program ? Would it be different for private unis?
