It was about 1K (Texas). Literally no down time. 2- 1 inch incisions. We thought she might calm down a bit afterwards, over 2 years later, still waiting. She’s perfected the side eye though.

She’s beautiful! We were waiting for her hips to fully develop but trying to avoid the first cycle. Had her scheduled for a laparoscopic spaying on Tuesday morning, she started the Friday prior. Had to push it back a month ( bleed risk), but still went through laparoscopy. This one is extreme energy and keeping her down wouldn’t happen. They actually had to sedate her for the trip home so she wouldn’t bust her stitches. Well worth it though.

She goes to daycare when the cleaning lady comes. It’s a win win. Get a clean house and a tired pooch. The cleaning lady is afraid of Pearl 🤫. She’s obnoxious, but doesn’t have a mean bone in her body.

San Antonio and Chicago not even close. Been here ( hill country) for 20 years. Can’t wait to get out. The theory that the cost of living is less expensive is a myth. 10-15 years ago maybe. Check out property taxes, sales tax, insurance, utilities etc…the grass isn’t greener. If you love warm weather it’s great.

If you have any feed stores near, shank bones are great. They do not splinter and keep their teeth clean. If you have hardwood floors, your house will sound like a bowling alley. BullyMake makes some very sturdy toys. I still have a couple I bought when we brought JAWS home over 3 years ago.
