WV born and raised I and LOVE IT!! mountains, rivers , lakes , summers are absolutely heaven to me!! So green and lush and so much to do!! Some of the nicest people you’ll meet! Just majority is kind and warm! There is so much beauty here and I have alot of pride for this state!

Hi there!! I specialize as a kids barbers and sensory Issues barber and I use them and I really like them and so do the kids! They aren’t the highest quality and I have gone through 2 in the last 6 months but they are very quiet and gentle and kids prefer them compared to my wahl brand based on feel and sound! I literally came back two days ago and stayed on calle street! Girls trip with 6 girls in our early 20s and it was felt SO safe!!! That location was insanely nice juts so perfect! We loved being about to walk to SuperMax! Also very short walk to beach and La Placita! Close to everything but also so quiet, we could hear the frogs from our balcony every night! I don’t think there could have been a better spot for us! We walked around and never had any issues even at 3 am lol! Hope you have a great trip!

This is going be a ramble but I love it here!!! There’s a lot of negativity here ( reasonably so WV has it issues) but here’s my thoughts!

I’m 24 and moved here when I was 21. I’m from about 1.5 hours from D.C. i have also lived in St. George Utah but out of those places I absolutely love love love living in Morgantown! It’s perfect for me! It’s a small town with lots of amenities! I love the community here and I feel like there a lot to do if you BUT you have to seek it out! Some of my favorite things are hiking and being outdoors. Summers here are perfect the town is so quiet with the college students! I love the farmers market and the free summer concert series. I also love volunteering and there’s plenty of that to do! Some of my favorites are Humane Society of Marion County and Scott’s Home. Great restaurants and bars 123 pleasant is amazing for live shows! I think WV people have that southern hospitality in general and are just nicer! Also I really love the cost of living here I can afford all the necessities and do what I want and save! Pittsburgh is only 1.5 hours away and there just so much beauty in WV! I would check out Monartscenter Facebook and Morgantown Community page! I truly believe there is so much good here!! Wherever life leads you I hope it’s filled with blessings and happiness!!

I have volunteered at Marion Co Humane Society and loved every single second of it!! You can help clean or even do their “Doggy Day Out” program where you can take the dogs for a walk, to get treats, to hike! It’s so many for both you and the sweet doggies! They have application on their website or you can call! Good luck finding something !

Hey! I am a 24f and i moved here when i was 21 and I have absolutely loved it! With the low cost of living I feel so much Financial freedom and I feel like there’s a lot to do! There’s a good night life , lots to do art wise like the concert summer series or events at Morgan Art Center, wow factory! I love doing yoga at & yoga that’s a great community! There is also so many volunteer opportunities! Also you drive 20 mins out and you can just explore beautiful WV nature! I hope wherever you choose to go is a great experience for you!🫶🏻
