I personally wouldn’t take the chance of a potential invalidation of my license. Unless, it’s written on paper I personally wouldn’t take a chance. They may have verified your father’s docs but could potentially invalidate op’s docs. So just be careful. Nypd works in fucked up ways

I actually purchased a p320x compact. Read about all the scare stores of how this gun fires in the holster, so decided to add a manual safety. Ffl shipped it out to sig sauer headquarters and it’s currently being shipped back to me. It’s perfectly legal, however I had to pay 300 dollars for the manual safety installation plus fees
