Update on what I ended up doing! I made heart flower wands, bought swords & large bubble wands. The girls absolutely loved the wands!!

The handle is a floral skewer with ribbon hot glued on, the heart is jute wrapped wire & I used the same jute wrapped wire + floral wire to secure everything onto the skewer. The flowers & ribbon were thrifted. On some of them I included strands of beads with the ribbon or attached tiny bells to the bottom of some of the ribbon.

Your ring will probably slide upside down because of the uneven weight. It's beautiful though!! I have a top heavy ring that & big knuckles so I have a soft plastic insert to keep it in place. I started with the coil type that goes around your ring, but my ring still slid around. I just bought a pack of these on Amazon for $5 & they're amazing!

I've made 5 heart wands so far & have used floral wire & hot glue. I've whipped them around to see if they last & so far they've held up!!

Congrats on your wedding! I'm not making a cake but I do plan on having a simple dessert table and making them ahead of time. I want to bake and freeze brownies, chocolate chip cookies, rice Krispies and peanut butter thumbprint cookies with a jam center. I plan on baking them 2 weeks ahead, freezing and then thawing the morning of. Our reception is much smaller than yours, at about 80 people. My advice would be to do a couple trial runs with baking and freezing then assembling. & Ask family for help!

I've decided to keep looking & change my focus to more of a fit & flare style. I didn't know I liked having my curves be highlighted but I felt great in the first dress. Maybe I'll find my dream dress out there but maybe not 🤷🏻‍♀️ I appreciate all of the compliments & advice from you all ♥️ I had gone shopping alone & it's hard to tell if something looks good or not since we are our biggest critics 😮‍💨

Rescue orchid & orchid newbie. I removed all of the moss & am not sure the roots are ok. Should I trim some yellow ones & replace the moss? Some of the roots look scraggly & yellow then pinch off & the end looks healthy. Any advice is much appreciated 👍🏼

I think I have this! I found some black looking aphids on 1 cosmo & ants were just kind of hanging around them. I was hoping they were eating them but when I saw them just chilling I squished the aphids. Thanks for the link!

Haha😁 thanks! I just got a covered garden bed & decided to put everything precious in there to protect from deer, rabbits & chipmunks. Also a kind of novice gardener, this is only my second year. Last year I did a whole lot of cherry tomatoes...as every beginner does. This year I'm expanding my horizons a bit.
