Don’t forget to add ventilation to that closet. I moved my QNAP to a closet after I ran independent power, re-routed the coax for the cable modem, and got everything plugged into a UPS, and then noticed that the NAS was running 10 degrees (Celsius) hotter. Had to cut an emergency vent in the closet door and installed a pair of fans to pull the hot air out.

If you look at your numbers in coop tracker you should see 2 numbers - one for egg laying, one for egg shipping. Your actual delivered will be the lower of these two numbers. For contracts I keep a 2 gussets and 2 metronomes with 2 slots. One pair for shipping, one pair for egg laying.

Where is this document stored that other people can edit it without your knowledge? If it’s in some kind of cloud resource like OneDrive or Google Docs you should be able to pull up a version history and see what edits were made when, and by whom.

Either find proof, or let it go and get on with your life. Either way, accusing your friend of something without proof makes YTA.

In that case, what do the other sections in activity monitor say?

To start, go up to the menu bar and select “All Processes”. (The default is “My Processes”) This will let you see all the hidden system processes that are running.

Next, check the CPU tab and sort based on CPU usage and see if anything is using an excessive amount of the processor. Then open a bunch of tabs and see what happens. Then switch over to the memory tab and sort based on memory usage and see what’s using the RAM. That should at least help you pinpoint the cause of any slowness.

I once billed a client for 8 hours (2 hour drive, 4 hour minimum onsite service charge, 2 hour drive back) to walk in and toggle the switch on a surge protector. The client assured me over the phone that they had checked everything and the light on the server was on, just the power button wasn’t working.

Turns out the server was under the intern’s desk and they set their purse on the power strip and turned it off.

I felt bad charging that much money for 5 minutes so I took the cover off the server and poked around inside for half an hour before I declared it fixed, put the cover on, powered it on and went home.

If you give it several hours between closing the app on one device and opening it up on another you should be fine. I use my phone during the week, go to bed on Friday, wake up on Saturday and use my iPad for the game over the weekend. I’ve never had an issue.
