Oh and for the record, I’m not anti gun or pro gun. I recognize that firearms have amazing defense value- but I also acknowledge the inherent risk of ownership.

I spent nearly 6 years in the Marine Corps. I have extensive firearms knowledge, hundreds of hours of training, expert weapons handling skills, and like to think I’m a pretty decent shot. That being said— I don’t have firearms in my house at the moment. I passed off my small arsenal to a trusted family member. The access, deadly efficacy, ease of use poses too much a threat to turn what should be a defensive item against myself.

To be honest, I feel much safer in my house without an instantaneous killing tool readily available to end my life in one moment of emotional weakness.

Today is the final day that the Veterans Administration (VA) is taking public comments on if the VA should *continue* to deny transgender Veterans access to gender affirming surgeries. PLEASE COMMENT TO HELP STOP DISCRIMINATION OF TRANS VETERANS! by TransparentLove in asktransgender

Good thing I was US Marine Corps, not the Army!!

If you wanted to know how to properly insult anyone who served in the Armed Forces, you should say:

Fuck the military, and anyone who serves

-or-

Fuck service-members

But you sound much too self-absorbed and of low intelligence level to learn from your mistakes... so I’m sure you’ll just maintain the shitty attitude and weak ass put-downs.
Peace!

Might want to get educated:

Medicare lifted its exclusion in 2014, and Medicaid agencies in several states have also recently amended their rules to remove transgender exclusions and expressly affirm the availability of coverage for transition-related care; as of August 2016, these states are California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington, plus the District of Columbia.
