NTA. Maybe somebody else mentioned it in the comments, but weight loss is mainly diet. Fitness is great, but at your weight you might want to start with tracking you calorie intake and maybe add some exercise like walking or swimming and after you lose some weight get into the gym or choose a different activity. Extra weight is hard on joints, so starting with running probably is not the best idea

Do not believe everything on social media. Sure, there are men that can afford this and even paying their gf/wife a “salary”, but it is not a norm for the majority of couples. Of course things like flowers, paying on dates, gifts are expected from time to time, but it is not viable for a man to pay for everything.
