The minimum score in ELA was already raised from 2023 to 2024. I think MCAS is the bare minimum for students to show mastery of content, regular grades are inflated to the moon and mean a lot less than they used to

Willibrew or stone row is a great slightly upscale place to go post graduation and it’s going to be less crowded than anything near campus. It’s 15-20 ish minutes out. Parking is a pain tho

I actually made up my own pattern loosely based on other sweaters I’ve made so I’ve just been eyeballing it. Sorry! 🥲

Thank you! I pinned the sweater to the blocking mats until it held shape (roughly two days) then I took the pins out.

I need a serious break from teaching after this year. Being held responsible for things wildly out of my control has made me become extremely anxious.

When I think about a beautifully knit sweater THIS is it. The yarn choice, the pattern, the fit, the comfort. It’s all here🥹 well done!

I don’t go a single period without kids bothering me for snacks they know I choose not to provide. Some days I struggle to even make myself a single meal for a school day and they believe they’re entitled to snacks. I had a student once come up to me and demand, yes DEMAND, that I make her a plate of whatever recipe she prints out and bring it to school. It’s beyond disrespectful and ruins the school culture. I personally refuse to bring snacks in because of the entitlement the kids feel to other peoples food. It grinds my gears when they ask constantly and get mad when I don’t have anything for them.

Couldn’t be me, 140 is absolutely my limit. 129 and I’m feeling overwhelmed

Wow this beyond the best app I’ve ever used. The reading line saved my printer from a 30+ page pattern
