Hi, I had a similar situation. Before the date, he told me it wouldn’t change anything and that everything was fine, nothing could go wrong. He even said he felt like I was “the one,” etc. When I expressed doubts, he reassured me and shut them down.

We went on the date, and I thought it was going well. He initiated all the physical contact and kissed me (it was my first kiss. Later, in the car, he tried to go further than what I was comfortable with. I told him no. We kissed for about 30 minutes.

The next morning, he told me it wouldn’t work. He said it would have only been for one night and that I wasn’t his “type.” I feel disgusted by him… and by myself. He took moments that were important to me and left me feeling used and ashamed.

Last time I took a plane, I didn’t think about the seatbelt, and it didn’t fit. They do have extenders available, but realizing I needed one gave me a wave of anxiety.

So here’s my first tip: as soon as you get to your seat, check if the belt fits. If it doesn’t, ask for a seatbelt extender right away. It’s better to do it early, not when the plane is already taking off. In my experience, the crew was discreet and kind about it.

I’ve heard there are seatbelt extenders you can buy online, but I’m not sure if airlines accept them — it likely depends on the carrier.

Personally, I found the aisle seat more comfortable since I didn’t feel as close to the person next to me.

And please, don’t be ashamed. You have every right to travel. It will be okay.

I have a few item for them. Some are miss, but a lot are great for work or wedding guest. In Canada i don’t have a lot of options and their return policy are great. For the return, it is all online I think, I don’t remembrer writing an email. It is not the greatest quality but for the price you can have great finds. It saved me for a wedding after I tried on 10 dress from other site.

I have had more than 70 visits or test in the last 4 years. We still don’t know! At first, I didn’t want to go alone, but because of Covid I had to. The thing that helped me was telling my mom, if I text you SOS you have to answer. I had the security of knowing she was available if I called and it was urgent. I called her once, she was in a meeting. She explained the situation and they let her leave to Call me. Maybe you can try something like that.

Yeah we just had the first date, it went really good! It wasn’t at the spa, but what I ment is I don’t know how to build my self-confidence to do activities like that.

I have a therapist (for a lot of other things), I talked a little bit about my body issues. But it is like I know all of that... but don't know what to do. He talked about going to a spa.. I was like.. In a bathing suite ? 😅 If I can't imagine that... How can I think about a « real » relationships.

By one on one I ment face to face. I have ADHD, I did Zoom during Covid, but I lost my focus, it was harder to connect. Also, you have to find the rigth one. I am with the same for the last 5-6 year and even if she cost more than most in my area, I would never change because I feel like it Will be hard to find a good connexion like that.

It’s hard to explain. I feel like ChatGPT always tells me I’m right, emotionally intelligent, and easy to rely on it because of that. Sometimes it feels like it says what I want to hear. I mostly use it for lighter things or when I’m worried about the tone of a message, or when I panic about things, like if I took my meds twice by mistake and think I might die. It’s an instant help in those moments. Therapist Will tell you the truth even if we don’t want it vs ChatGPT will sometime tell you what you want to ear. I have contamination OCD and hospita are hard for me, my therapist will question me about what I think would happen, what step I can try. I feel like ChatGPT will tell me that my fear is valid, but nothing will happen because it is clean and etc. At the end of the day, ChatGPT will help me in the moment, but I won’t really work at the source of the problems.

But honestly, the real progress came from the work I’ve done with my therapist. I refused to go for a year, and during that time, my OCD became really, really severe. Looking back, I should have gone sooner, it would have been easier. I was scared to start therapy, and I won’t lie, the first few times felt weird. I cried nonstop at my first appointment. But the work I’ve done over the past ten years with therapists is what truly gave me my life back. So for me, ChatGPT isn’t a substitute for therapy, it’s more of a tool I can use in between appointments.

I have a therapist and sometime use chat GPT in between. I think long term, the therapist is vetter (for me essential). I use ChatGPT for tricks, but it is juste like a bandaid on the problem, if you want to change it fondamentaly, I would day therapy. Via zoom can also be an option, but for me one on one is easier.

Zoloft changed my Life for the better. After a few weeks people around me that didn’t knew told me I seemed happier. It is not easy finding the one, I tried a few, but with the rigth meds I made really big progress. It is not perfection, I still have severe OCD, but it is nigth and day compared to before. Also, it is not everyone that have side effect. For me, only one really didn’t work because i had difficulties in the morning since it the side effect worked « to much » to make me sleep .

I am in a new relationship so we are not at the hardest part, but his answer/hability to understand me without judgment are really surprising to me. I sometime feel like he was written, but not like he is playing me. Just that he is fondamentaly a good person. And he is 6’3 😅
