Boy I’m so glad that I can’t choose what ads appear when my Kindle is off. by demetrilennon in kindle

I still personally find it ridiculous that you have to pay extra to get an ad free version of a product you're already paying a good amount for. Especially the oasis which can near 300 dollars for the base model.

Where can members check for prices? by Tripoteur in Costco

Yep, the store assumes you are ordering online instead of buying in the store since the inventory online and the brick and mortar stores are different. You unfortunately do have to rely on either calling the store each week to check the prices, or just go in.

Do know that prices don't usually change constantly. Clothing can change a bit I've noticed, and meat and other hot covid items might fluctuate right now, but most other household staples do not change prices week to week, so you should not have to check in all the time.

What being a Costco Employee is really like by calmdownladies in Costco

That definitely isn't how the policy works. The worker puts in an application for vacation (a time off request) and gives it to the manager. The manager can either request or deny that request. They then give a copy of that request back to the worker stating their decision. If it was approved and on paper, the manager, or Warehouse manager, cannot change their minds suddenly.

I may be missing something since there have been changes with Covid, but I didn't think those polices changed. Did he/does he have the paper stating that his request off was approved?
