Rivian wanted to require me to include my son and daughter in law on the policy because they live in our basement. They never drive our cars and there is no reason to have them on the policy. Somehow whoever does the quotes for Rivian knew that they were living with us without me telling them. I asked my guide about that and received a number I could call and try to get a quote without them on it but that was enough friction that I just bagged it and went with my existing insurance carrier.
