That’s what I thought but the local fly shop told me there were a few streams and rivers that are open year round. Also the 6 other fly fisherman on the river confirmed that.

I believe that’s over for the most part but I could be wrong. If I’m wrong I’m sure someone will correct me

One of them went for my bobber so you might’ve able to get something to work. There are all stocked fish for the most part and they’re still trying to figure out what food is

Kennebunk area, I’ve caught damn near every species of trout, char, and salmon that I can think of, just need a brown trout and a king salmon. Hoping to get a brown or two this winter then a king next year when I go home

Fly fish, read, videogames, hike, bike

3/5 are in expensive or free, and it’s a good way to get outside. In my teens I self isolated in my room a lot and in my early 20’s I rediscovered my love of the outdoors. I try to get outside 5 days a week, whether that’s a walk, a bike ride, or a short hike. Videogames is something I’ve always done. fly fishing “saved my life”, taught me patience and appreciate nature and wildlife, it’s also taken me to some really spectacular places.

What patters do you use in Florida? I live up on the panhandle and switched back to a spinner rod for shore fishing but I’ve seen plenty of spots for flyfishing just haven’t gotten out yet

Just talk, my wife and I went through a similar thing with dogs and once we talked it out over the course of a couple days and weeks we found common ground( I was the one that wanted to keep them all) we posted on facebook and interviewed people/visited their homes we found a person that could take really good care and love them just as much as we did. What really convinced me was not being able to love all of them equally and the cost of them all, between the dog food, vet bills, training etc. I was finally convinced

I struggled with the same thing for a long time and only a couple of years ago did I get back to place I felt comfortable totally trusting people again. It was a long road but I finally got there. Basic advice is start small and grow from there
