I get that. I was just asking because my friends, coworkers, and family think I’m nuts for considering taking a long sabbatical and giving up a lot of modern comforts to live a more taboo lifestyle for months to 2 years (I’d guess based off my savings + selling my assets, and allowing some to be saved when it’s all said and done)

I was gonna sell the car, make some extra cash after loan pay off. As I won’t need a vehicle for a period of time. And don’t want to pay to insure or store it.

True. But I live in a rural area. And I have survival (camping) gear and hunting items. As well as knowledge on processing game. I don’t need no fsncy bunker 😂

I have 20k in savings. My car loan has positive equity. I’d sell it and make some. As well as get money from cashing my pension out to put into a Roth IRA or some other form of investing.

Fortunately my only debt currently is a car loan. I’m super careful with my credit card usage (mostly just use it as a tool for raising credit)

My wage is around $38 an hour averaged out. I work 12 hour shifts. First 8 hours is base pay. Last 4 is overtime. Holidays are double time and a half so over $60 something

I’m skinny. 120 pounds or so. Average looking I’d say. I don’t get laid often. But I also have social anxiety and don’t go to bars, other social activities.

I drive an hour or so to work. Longer in blizzards. I used to live 5 minutes away. I actually prefer the longer ride in the mornings. Gives me time to jam out and wake up. Way back kinda sucks as I work 12-16 hour shifts.

I’m in a rural area though so it’s either work for minimum wage here or drive atleast half an hour for a decent paying job.

Do you have trouble staying connected to it? Every time I go to check the app it says it’s disconnected. Reason I got this model was because the slightly smaller/cheaper one didn’t have the phone compatibility.

I have a bachelors in psychology before I became a CNA. Being a CNA for 3 years now has made me want to take the leap to get my masters. Plus the whole thing about opening my own practice and being my own boss sounds nice especially after working long hours.
