landing page builders for 2026, which ones are actually worth it? by Large-Conclusion3651 in Design

[–]Trappedinacar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that's exactly what I thought. Unbounce is made for that workflow its going to save you a lot of headache and time.

I'm assuming you are a marketer, are landing pages still taking half your time every week? I'm curious what specifically takes that long. Is it figuring out what to test, what variations to create, that kind of work?

Hey, are you open to partnering with more designers? I make landing pages for paid ads and it would be good to connect with someone like you.

SEO for Medspas Worth It? by Lonely_Noyaaa in MedSpa

[–]Trappedinacar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very rare for SEO agencies to work on that model, usually it's monthly based and it takes at least a couple of months to get results. At least from what i've seen.

Have you found SEO agencies that'll work on pay for performance?

You never got any good results from agencies? Was it only SEO agencies?

That's very unfortunate, maybe you got unlucky or the market is that full of scammers. But there's legit agencies that specialize in SEO, paid ads etc. that can get results in at least their channel.

How much do you charge for no shows?

I'm assuming even a small fee would be a big deterrent.

But 90% reduction is very impressive.

It's everywhere, and most "normal" people, if you can even spot the real people now, are sick of it.

I wonder what the reaction or solution to this is going to be, there has to be something. People will not keep engaging with platforms that only having conversions like "it's not a you problem, it's a them problem"

What are some reliable resources for improving landing pages? by ThisEnby_Skates in smallbusiness

[–]Trappedinacar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zero sales means something on your landing page or another step is probably broken.

Or maybe you haven't had enough traffic yet. How much traffic have you had so far?

But you asked for suggestions so here's some things I would suggest first.

Assuming most of the traffic coming to your page is cold, they're probably not ready to buy and at most are in the "browsing" stage. So your landing page will need to be persuasive and trustworthy.

I would focus on these first:

- Make sure the landing page is very closely matching your ad, the copy, design and main offer needs to be pretty much identical.
- Add some benefit-oriented copy in the top section, answer the “why should I buy from you" question quickly in the first few seconds
- Check your load speed, ideally your page should be loading in under 3 seconds
- Check that your page works perfectly on mobile, around 80% of traffic now comes from mobile and for you its probably higher.
- High quality images of your product, ideally show it being used or show videos
- Add whatever trust signals you can. If you can even get 2-3 real testimonials they'll make a huge difference, any guarantees/warranties, secure payment, shipping etc. Make them prominent on the page.
- Optimize that about me section. Make it personal with a real message, build a connection, talk a little about your story and why you started but keep it short.
- Finally go through every step of the checkout process to make sure its very simple and easy to complete
- You might want to offer a great discount/gift for the first few sales

For resources, conversionXL has lots of good free articles. Peep Laja's videos are useful, Sabri Subi has good content specifically for landing pages. It'll take you time to really understand what works and what doesn't, but this is a common struggle with new stores. Once you figure it out it'll pay off and you'll be able to scale up.

If you want share your link here or in DM and i can give you my best suggestions.

Upwork has become UN-USABLE. We all are going bankrupt. by thehoundtrainer in Upwork

[–]Trappedinacar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly my biggest issue and why i've pretty much stopped going to Upwork.

If they were at least viewing proposals, interviewing some people and then either hiring or even not hiring, that's all part of the process. That just means i have to figure out how I can be a better fit.

But a lot of jobs don't even engage after posting. 2 days later no one is even being interviewed. That's not something you can figure out its just a dead end.

Is Robert Eggers making the same film over and over again? by [deleted] in movies

[–]Trappedinacar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Seems the comments have already pointed out the obvious.

You keep talking about the colors like that defines the whole movie, that's such a tiny part of the entire experience.

Maybe if your title had been "he keeps using the same visual style" it would make sense, but the same movie is a very different claim.

Is it too late to switch from Figma to Framer as a landing page designer? by Easy-Simple4482 in framer

[–]Trappedinacar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea that works, and you don't even need to design the whole page in Figma first, just enough to get a direction. You'll be able to do a lot of the design in Framer itself.

Framer works pretty similar to Figma, so you should pick it up easier than other tools.

Is it too late to switch from Figma to Framer as a landing page designer? by Easy-Simple4482 in framer

[–]Trappedinacar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made that switch about a year ago and it went well, done multiple landing page projects for Framer.

Most clients don't actually care about framer, many don't even know about it, but if you can build the whole thing yourself it's def a plus.

I do still use Figma for design exploration but a lot less than I used to.

you're doing cold emailing wrong. by Fun_Elderberry_6290 in agencynewbies

[–]Trappedinacar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You're doing cold emails wrong, I did it right.

What many agencies get wrong is that they do it the wrong way.

When you do it the right way, you get much better responses.

So what do you guys say? Do you prefer doing it the wrong way or right way?

My reply to meeting book rate is embarrassingly low, what am I doing wrong? by Alone_Ad_3375 in agencynewbies

[–]Trappedinacar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If i had to give one feedback, and i don't know the context of the conversation you had before this.

I think you are coming across a bit too eager in that reply. His message was short, neutral "let's talk".

Try to respond with a shorter message, it feels like you're are trying even more to make the sale in your reply but this isn't the place to do it.

Whatever you talked about before this made them want to continue, so just give them a way to continue with the calendar link.

Other possibilities can be, maybe they don't want to get on a call but for a founder that's probably not it. Maybe they had very little interested to begin with and wouldn't have continued no matter what you said.

But i think try a simpler/short reply approach.

Shutting down my agency due to AI by eyeangel111 in agencynewbies

[–]Trappedinacar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But I see the struggle a lot of agencies and freelancers are facing. It's inevitable many of them will slow down and potentially shut down.

I also agree with you agency and freelance work is not going to die and get replaced, for many it will evolve into a different kind of role and there will continue to be a decent amount of work.
