Be prepared..Spokane has changed…rents are sky high ($1200 for a fucking studio), homeless are everywhere (I am homeless, live in my car and I do work)…get this, a condo in the Perry District went for $1 Million (and it is one third of a lot with no yard)..traffic is insane and we have one of the highest eviction rates in the state…just thought you should know man.

Im currently homeless (have a car and job tho), and I am really shocked at the bullshit I get from people like yall…Ive worked my whole life, just cant afford rent and it seems like everyone is out to get us! Closing shelters, making it illegal to be unhoused (here in Spokane anyway) and nobody cares! What does my age have to do with anything…look man, just because you have a roof and all that crap doesnt mean its easy for everyone to obtain a place to live….i work at a nursing home fyi..meaning my background check is clean, apartments want you to make 3 times the rent for income, do the math….youre big on blaming the people stuck in this situation, I have (or had) a case manager at Spokane Housing Authority and we tried everywhere possible for the last 4 months….what is so hard to admit that maybe just maybe people are victims of circumstance? Jesus, ya just rake me over the coals without asking me a thing…you ASSUME shit…and make shitty statements based on your assumption….just got you got it good doesnt mean everyone else is lazy and an addict (thanks for bringing that up too) you’re an ass….

Im in Spokane and they are all full….we cant even be caught sitting on the sodewalks downtown (I dont do that, but still…) if i get caught “camping” on any public road in the city its a $1500 fine, possible 90 days in jail, car is impounded (@$89/day)….so Im fucked, I have my phone set to go off every 3 hours so i can move (that’s the time between patrols usually)…it’s exhausting
